My Approach

My approach is very solution focused which means I concentrate on helping you finding solutions rather than problems, building on strengths rather than weaknesses and finding positive ways forward rather than examining barriers.

By directing energy in a positive way focusing on strengths and working towards a solution, you will feel motivated and energised rather than de-motivated and demoralised, a feeling you have probably experienced when problems and difficulties are discussed and analysed.

Approach
However, I do need to warn you that I’m not soft and fluffy. I am going to challenge you, I’m going to hold you accountable and I’m going to point out patterns of behaviours that may be holding you back.

My approach can be broken down into 3 phases: Discover, Take Action and Review Impact.

At the beginning of our relationship, we will spend time discovering what you want to achieve, why you want to achieve it and how you will know when you have achieved it.  We will then move on to exploring your current situation, your assumptions, the things that have been holding you back, the options you have for moving forward and create a personalised action plan.  We will then review the impact your actions and the learning you have taken from completing them so that the next iteration is even more powerful.

Discover

Where do you want to be? By helping you to discover your long, medium and short team goals you can start to focus on them.  Every journey starts with the first step and this is it. As part of this stage, we will create a coaching plan to get you from where you are to where you want to be

Take Action

Nothing changes unless you take action. This stage is all about challenging the assumptions you have and the things that have been holding you back. However, it is also all about exploring options and taking action no matter how small to move you in the right direction. At this stage, we will create an action plan for next steps

Review Impact

Understanding what works and what doesn't work for you as an individual is vital for moving forward. By taking the time to review the impact of your actions and what you have learned you will gain a better understanding of how to create positive impact.
